Project Outline
Van Acht approached us with a very unique set of instructions for their online presence.
They wanted brochure-type sales pages for their products. Pages with photo’s, specs & range options all on one page. They also asked for an online quoting system. A system that collects customer contact details before emailing an instant system generated quote to the user. This meant hiding the product prices from the front end. However, they threw us a curveball. They also want to dip their toes into eCommerce. They slowly wanted to introduce a limited range of products available for online purchase, and over time release more products at a controlled rate. That meant that we needed a system that could control all the stock, but make some products available for sale and others available for quote only.

These pages present their products more visually. Each range has its own page. We also incorporated the quoting system directly in these pages, removing the eCommerce feel, and offering a more relaxed browsing experience.

Final thoughts
We exceeded customer’s expectations with how effective the system is working. As of 2021, they process approximately 150 enquiries & eCommerce sales a day.
